to Weisup Weimaraners
Having owned and loved Weimaraners now for around 16 years we thought it was about time to share our wonderful Wei's with the rest of the world.
Weisup Kennels is proudly founded by Debbie Meyrick and Rick Larkin, we live in Wainuiomata, Wellington, New Zealand. We have had Weimaraners now for 16 years, mainly enjoying success with them in the show ring, breeding and the odd hunting trip.
Weisup Kennels is home to Ch Feldhund Hidden Agenda (Chase) who is now nearly 12 years old, he is the son of Gr Nz Ch Aust Ch Rifleman Poachers moon, who was a wonderful example of the breed. Chase's lines can be found in a few of the dogs still in the show ring today and doing extremely well. Chase's lines produce dogs with wonderful reach and drive with very sound movement.
With the gene pool here in New Zealand being very small, Weisup set out to start importing quality breeding dogs and semen into the country, we are still in the early stages of our breeding programme and are very humble to those Kennels that have helped us along the way.
